UNO Enrollment Information

Before enrolling in classes, please read the information below:
  • Mavlink is UNO's web-based registration system that conveniently allows you to enroll in courses, drop and add courses, and obtain grade and schedule information along with a host of other web based enrollment services. You need your NUID and password in order to use mavlink. If you have forgotten your password please visit the Identity Manager website.
  • All UNO students enrolled in classes automatically receive a gmav e-mail account. Student Enrollment Services will use this e-mail account as the sole communication vehicle for many important enrollment services announcements, including enrollment information. Please check your account on a regular basis. If you need help accessing your e-mail account, please visit the helpdesk website, or call them at 554-HELP (4357).
  • To view your Enrollment Date, please logon to Mavlink.
  • To view the schedule of classes, go to the mavlink login page and click “Search for Classes”.
  • Audit enrollment is only available on or after the first day of the class, requires written permission of the instructor, and must be done in person at the Registrar's Office, EAB 105. Please refer to Audit Registration Policies and Procedures for more details.

Even Exchange Policy

When dropping or adding courses via mavlink, please remember these four rules for even exchanges:
  • Even exchanges must be done on the same day.
  • Even exchanges are allowed during the first week of the standard semester. For courses which are outside the regular session, it will be necessary to contact the Registrar's Office to do a swap.
  • Even exchanges are only allowed for courses in the same session.
  • Courses used for even exchanges cannot be used again for another even exchange.

When can I enroll?

Currently enrolled students who do not have any enrollment holds are eligible to participate in early enrollment. Early enrollment times are based on the number of credit hours earned. Please note, UNO Inter-Campus students must turn in an Inter-Campus form to the Office of Admissions each semester. Early enrollment periods are as follows:

  Spring 2015
Graduates November 3
Seniors (91 - above) November 5
Juniors (58 - 90) November 7
Sophomores (27 - 57) November 11
Freshman (0 - 26) November 13
Open Enrollment November 17

Your specific enrollment date and enrollment holds information is available by logging on to mavlink. The system will not allow you to enroll prior to your scheduled time.

Many classes have prerequisites or require permission from a department or instructor. To check course requirements, please use the University Undergraduate or Graduate catalog. Requirements for a course can be found at the back of these catalogs under course descriptions. Any questions about prerequisites or about obtaining permission should be directed to your academic advisor.
